The 5th Annual Roots Picnic!!!

Sooooo exciting! Two day festival with an amazing lineup!
Tickets for both days are $96.60, for just Saturday are $63, and for just Sunday are $63.
On Saturday, the lineup is: The Roots, De La Soul, James Murphy (DJ set), Tune-Yards, Floostradamus, St. Vincent, Wale, The Hood Internet, Star Slinger, OCD: Moosh & Twist, Danny Brown, Kids These Days, Mr. MFN eXquire, Grand Prize Winners From Last Year.
On Sunday the lineup is: The Roots, Kid Cudi, Major Lazer, Rakim, Diplo, Chill Moody, Quadron, Jessi Teich, Gianni Lee, Selah Sue, Reda.

MOVIE REVIEW: You Don’t Know Jack

This really is a good movie, and Al Pacino does a thorough job of executing this role (pun intended?). “You Don’t Know Jack” is about the life of Jack Kevorkian, the man known as “Dr. Death” who spent his life trying to legalize assisted suicide. The film shows his encounters with several of his most memorable patients and the use of his “Mercy Machine.” Definitely worth taking up your TV screen! Jack was also an avid oil painter. His collection is really bold, uses bright colors, and not surprisingly, is revolved around death and religion. I really like his painting titled “For He is Raised”:

Well it happened sooner than I expected, but the intimate apparel company Ginch Gonch has a new line appearing Thursday at midnight! So far they have revealed themes of bananas and videogames…interesting.
